Who we are

KoraRooms is a hotel booking platform for Tibetan community stays in India and the Himalayan region. We are operated as a small independent platform. You can contact us at hello@korarooms.com.

What data we collect

• Account holders: name, email address, phone number, gender
• Guests making a booking: first name, last name, email, phone number, check-in / check-out dates, number of guests, special requests
• Session data: an authentication cookie that keeps you logged in (no tracking cookies)

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking tool.

Why we collect it

• To process and confirm your hotel booking
• To contact the hotel on your behalf
• To send you a booking confirmation by email
• To allow you to log in and manage your bookings

We process your data on the lawful basis of contract performance — we need it to provide the service you requested.

Who we share it with

Your booking details (name, contact, dates) are shared with the hotel you book. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third party. Our infrastructure uses Supabase for data storage and Vercel for hosting.

How long we keep it

• Account data: until you request deletion
• Booking records: 3 years (for business and tax records)
• Session cookies: expire when you sign out or after 60 days of inactivity

Your rights

If you are based in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@korarooms.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use one session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to work and does not track your browsing activity. No consent is required for this cookie under the ePrivacy Directive.
